is the driving force behind this dynamic and intelligent group.
His father sparked his interest in computers when Steve was a boy,
before most of the world understood the potential of computers and
software. Despite his early interest, Steve majored in Philosophy
and Physics at the University of Chicago. But he quickly recognized
a fascinating and surprising connection between computers and philosophy.
His educational background has certainly strengthened his consulting
skills -- it has allowed him to approach database consulting from
a unique vantage point. That and his varied work experience have
led him to form a database consulting group that intelligently combines
communication and technology.

over 15 years of experience in the application design and development
industry, Jim Koss is a seasoned professional with a solid track
record. He brings to CSG extensive experience in project planning,
development and deployment. Mr. Koss holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, Ann
Arbor. Jim fills out the Chalem team with special expertise in C++
programming, large-scale software development, and the technical
intricacies of Microsoft operating systems and applications.
